With 89.77 points voted, Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang) ranks 6th out of the 10 most popular islands in Asia.

The 35th Readers Choice Awards also honored InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort (Da Nang) ranked 24th out of 50 best resorts in the world.
The Readers Choice Awards are CNTraveler's annual awards based on independent global traveler reviews to honor the world's top destinations. This year, the event received nearly 250,000 votes.
This island is now considered a resort paradise for both domestic and foreign tourists. Phu Quoc also boasts primeval forests and pristine beaches stretching for 150 kilometers.
Meanwhile, at the top of this list is Boracay Island (Philippines) with about 95 points. Another island in the Philippines, Palawan, also entered the top with 8th place.
Thailand contributed the most with 3 representatives, Koh Samui, Phuket and Phi Phi islands with 3rd, 5th and 10th positions, respectively.
Among the most loved countries in 2022, Thailand is third and Japan is second in Asia. Spain becomes the most popular country on the list.
In 2020, CNTraveler readers voted Vietnam as one of the 20 most favorite destinations in the world.
